Steve and Tammy became Mr. and Mrs. Gibson on a beautiful summer evening in July at Cedar Hall in Memphis, TN. Steve's anticipation to see his bride had been building for months, picturing her on their wedding day. As she emerged from beneath the ivy wrapped pergola and down the isle towards him, his face shone with not only excitement, but peace and comfort.
"You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known.
-and even that is an understatement."
-F. Scott Fitzgerald
One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to watch all the little details and everyone working together to bring such a memorable and meaningful day between two individuals to life. The Gibson's wedding was orchestrated and detailed by some of the most talented, professional Memphis wedding vendors. The wedding coordinators and event planners at Cedar Hall kept everything running smoothly and stress free, while Kasey Acuff and Allison Beksfort made sure the bride and bridesmaids look like a dream.
Between them and countless other helping hands throughout the day, every part of Steve and Tammy's wedding was flawless and made unforgettable.
A huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Gibson for choosing me as their wedding photographer and letting me capture the emotion and love that transpired on this day! The closeness between the two of you and the friends and family that surrounded you was nothing sort of beautiful. Congratulations!
Tammy is from Memphis, TN, and Steve is from New Orleans, LA. (In case you didn't know, both cities are known for the delicious food that they have to offer) The couple compromised and represented both of their cultures by having two buffets offering a little taste of both cities. Hard to beat a wedding that joins BBQ and canjun goodness! Yum!
